Powering Businesses By Unlocking Capital, Fundid’s First Funding

Today we are thrilled to shine light on the Fundid community and share that we’ve raised a $3.25M seed round led by Nevcaut Ventures, with participation from The Artemis Fund, Builders and Backers, and other leaders across the mission-driven tech space.

This new funding will empower our team to create more access to capital for businesses with under ten employees. We are excited by the huge interest we’ve seen in our mission and that we are already working with 16K+ businesses.

Our mission of helping businesses with under ten employees is threefold – but it all ties back to what we see as the biggest hurdles in this community time and time again: access to capital and business finance needs to be simplified. There are three ways, at Fundid, we help do this:

  1. Helping businesses get access to capital with business loans. This program is already helping small businesses meet their specific needs from several funders through Fundid Capital.
  2. Launching the first business building card. Our card, slated to go live in the next three months, will be the first business building card that extends credit to businesses with less than ten employees and creates a clear path to business growth. You can join the waitlist!
  3. Creating the go-to platform to simplify business finance. There are so many grants and programs available to small businesses, yet all too often information is siloed and difficult to find. Therefore, we’ve created a single platform, that is currently being used by 16K+ businesses, to find grants that match specific needs.

Personally, I have owned multiple small businesses throughout my entrepreneur journey and consulted for over 30 others, so I know firsthand how access to capital can be such an enabler, but also, when without it, a constant barrier. We have asked business owners in our community, “do you currently have access to funding for your business?” And the results are shocking, over 70% share, “no, I’m not sure how to get funding.”

Of all the 31M businesses in the US, over 80% of them have under 10 employees and yet financial solutions are still limited for this group. These 26M+ businesses motivate us at Fundid to build solutions specific to this community and it's why we have brought on this set of investors to help us further our mission.

Thanks for joining us in this journey of empowering businesses with less than ten employees - it’s just the beginning, and together we are building something special!
